Description
Unique decorative picture frame with internal measurements of exactly 4x6. The perfect size for many pictures.
The pattern is referred to as Widmanstätten, which is a type of naturally occurring pattern found only in iron meteorites. These metallic crystals form via cooling very slowly for millions of years in conditions that are not found on Earth.
The relief has some sharp, pointy features, but this was produced from a height map and needed to try and match the unique Widmanstätten pattern.
This would be a very nice gift for those interested in nature, science, or space.
