🦅 Aquila Mechanica – Industrial Raptor

Aquila Mechanica is a stylized sculpture representing a raptor in full flight, inspired by a project completed during my mechanical apprenticeship.

The original was entirely machined by hand in steel during workshop classes.
Years later, I wanted to give it a second life by re-modeling it for 3D printing, while respecting the spirit and proportions of the original piece.

Its angular and deliberately mechanical design evokes:

  • precision
  • rigor
  • and the flight towards craftsmanship

This piece is both a decorative object, a symbol of learning, and a bridge between traditional machining and digital manufacturing.

🔧 Technical details (adapt if needed)

  • Simple print, no supports
  • Ideal in PLA, PETG or stone/metal effect filament
  • Can be printed in a single color or with a raw finish
  • Perfectly suitable as a desk object, trophy, or workshop decoration
