Rhythmic Gymnastics Ribbon Winder
Print Profile(1)

Description
For my daughter's main passion, I redesigned an original rhythmic gymnastics ribbon winder.
The model consists of an outer part with a closable flap and an inner part that, by rotating, allows the ribbon to be wound.
In my case, I wanted to make it in various colors, so I performed multiple prints based on the color (you can find all the files to download).
In the various .3mf files, you will also find the settings used for printing.
Furthermore, to lock the ribbon, I created a mechanism where pressing a button opens a slit.
For the mechanism to work, it needs a spring that can be made of metal with a diameter of 15-16mm or can be 3D printed in plastic using the following parametric configurator:

The spring data for my model are:
- length 25mm
- thickness 2mm
- width 3mm
- pitch 7
- inner diameter 9 mm
- chamfer 0.5
The blue parts and the orange parts should be fixed and assembled with superglue.
I hope it will be useful for you too.
