Description
Light switch/socket frame for the Year of the Horse in Japan
Frame includes:
- Torii (Torii (Japanese 鳥居) are elements of traditional Japanese architecture and as such are real or symbolic entrance gates to a shrine.
- Fire Horse (A Fire Horse (Chinese: 丙午) is a rare combination in the Chinese zodiac, occurring every 60 years and returning in 2026 (from February 17, 2026 to February 5, 2027)
- 2026 (Year)
The Japanese Year of the Horse begins according to the Lunar calendar on February 17, 2026 and ends on February 5, 2027. In Japan, the annual zodiac sign "Eto" (干支) is determined according to the Chinese calendar, which is based on the lunar cycle – however, in everyday practice in Japan, the entire year 2026 is considered the "Year of the Horse". The Horse cycle occurs every 12 years.
