Boost Me (for free)
Enjoyed the Bricktorio or want more parts? Give me a boost and let me know.
Bricktorio – Factorio inspired Factory Bricks. Compatible with the “original”
For geeks and kids who want to play their favorite automation game offline.
Build your own factory, fiddle with your blueprints, or just build small dioramas.
Build plates
If you do not have any spare build plates or need custom sizes or colors, check out my custom plates project.
Idea
I absolutely love Factorio. But sometimes you need to take a break from the screen.
Even then, my brain wouldn’t shut off and kept producing ideas on how to improve a certain production line.
So I thought it would be a great idea to take those thoughts offline and build them with bricks instead. That way, I can tinker, experiment, and still spend time with my kids.
What started as a small idea quickly turned into a lot of fun modeling more and more parts from the game.
Models & Design
All models are original creations, inspired by the style of Factorio's in-game sprites.
They are simplified and optimized for 3D printing. The focus is on reliable printing:
- single-piece designs where possible
- minimal or no supports
While this cannot always be achieved for every shape, printability is my primary design constraint.
Calibration
Please print the calibration bricks first and check which fit works best for your setup.
The optimal fit can vary depending on:
- used built plates
- size of the base of the building
The larger the base of a building, the tighter the fit should be.
If the 0.00 setting works for you, you can simply keep the default settings and hit print.
This worked very well for me with Bambu PLA as well as other brands.
If the fit is too loose or too tight, you will need to manually adjust the X–Y contour compensation to the recommended value.

Adding More Models/ Items
Want more content inspired by the Factorio universe?
Let me know and give this project a boost.
I plan to expand the system over time and will prioritize:
- items with the most interest and feedback
- additions that fit well with the existing parts
Some of my personal candidates are:
- Items Bundle (Items for Belts and Assembly)
- copper cables, gears, plates or science packs, …
- Military Bundle
- Steam Power Bundle
- Solar Power Bundle
- Oil Processing Bundle
Filaments Used
- Dark Grey (Concrete / Belts / Inserter bases, …) → Bambulab PLA Basic Dark Grey
- Yellow (Inserter, Hazzard color) → Bambulab PLA Basic Sunflower Yellow
- Red (Long range Inserter) → Bambulab PLA Basic Red
- Grey (Walls) → Bambulab PLA Basic Grey
- Silver (Chest, Electric Poles) → Elegoo PLA Silver
Additional Infos
Most multi-color models in this project require only one filament swap to keep material waste low.
The main exceptions are underground belts and splitters. These use multiple colors on the same layer, which results in several filament swaps.
If you plan to print many of these parts, it is recommended to print them in bulk to reduce overall waste.
I also added single-color variants for all.
