Description

I usually keep my Valeton GP-200 on my desk when programming and recording. I’ve previously used an angled stand (designed for the Darkglass Anagram by zeMicka on Printables) but thought it would be worth designing something more specific to the GP-200.

It’s loosely based zeMicka’s design, but redrawn from the ground up to better fit the Valeton, as well as trying to match the GP-200 aesthetic (note - zeMicka’s original design appears to have disappeared! If it reappears, I’ll happily mark this design as a remix, if necessary).

This stand supports the full width of the GP-200, and even has recesses for the small rubber feet. The rails just about fit diagonally on a 256mm print bed. Note that the top rail has a small recess in the top left corner, and the bottom rail has two towards the top edge - these are to accommodate the small screws on the base of the unit.

If you print the side supports at 100%, the dovetails may be a little tight. I’ve included a few test pieces that you can print to find the best scaling for your printer (each piece has the scale % etched into it). I’ve found that 102% gives a nice friction fit. **Edit: I've changed the wall print order to outside/inside for increased accuracy. Some filaments are a little snug; even at 102%.

If you like this design and/or find it useful, please consider giving it a boost :) Likewise, if you'd have any suggested improvements, please let me know!
