Description
Tired of the messy light cables you often find in apartments? This model is my renter-friendly solution to hide and manage excess ceiling-light cable without cutting, drilling, or damaging the ceiling.
The system uses only cable ties to secure and bundle the cable inside the top part, then a simple 3-part assembly to mount a pendant lampshade cleanly and safely. Perfect for apartment renters who want a cleaner look with a removable setup.
Assembly instructions
- Top part (cable management)
- If the light cable is short enough, position the cable in the center of the ceiling/top part.
Hold it tightly using 3 cable ties through the built-in cable-tie tunnels. If the light cable is a bit long:
-Secure the cable first with 1 cable tie.
-Route/wrap the remaining cable around until the length is short enough.
-Secure the remaining cable using 2 more cable ties.
- If the light cable is short enough, position the cable in the center of the ceiling/top part.
- Connect the middle part to the top part with the thread.
- Mount the pendant light shading
-Install the M3 heat-set inserts into the pendant part.
-Connect the pendant part to the middle part using M3 x 10 mm screws.
-There are 6 mounting holes available— you can only use 1 hole per location (3 total).
Happy Decor!
