Description
Inspired by the original 1988 Battle Chess, this set brings classic pixel‑era personality into fully printable form. Each piece has been reimagined with stylized detail based on the original game’s designs: from the bishop’s solemn stance to the queen’s commanding elegance.
The set also includes both rook versions: the calm “sleeping” tower and the awakened golem ready for action, trying to capture the charm of the original game while remaining practical.
⚠️ Print Notes
- The bishop’s staff, the king’s scepter, and the knight’s (the cape, the sword, …) can be delicate; remove supports with care.
- The knight is oriented upside down in the print profile because that configuration produced the cleanest results. Any improvements are always welcome if you share them,
- Printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle, but for sharper detail a 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended.
- Use 30% infill to give the pieces some weight, and 3 walls to improve durability.
- Stands for the knight and the pawn are included. The figures can stand on their own, but the bases are recommended if you want guaranteed stability.
