For this model, printing vertically with the back face on the build plate should work without supports. Horizontal will need them. For any print, ask yourself two things: Overhangs over 45 degrees? Add supports. Past 45°, plastic sags instead of fusing to the layer below. Use Tree supports - easier to remove and less surface damage than normal supports. Tree (Slim) works most of the time. Any horizontal bridges? Bridges are spans between two walls with nothing underneath. Short ones (~50mm or less) usually print fine, longer ones need support. Tight tolerances or needs to fit another part? Leave “Only support critical regions” unchecked - that setting skips minor overhangs which is fine for decorative prints but causes fitment issues on functional parts. Always check your slicer preview before printing so you can see exactly where supports land before you commit. Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance.
