Dopamine Calendar | Flip Time | Flip Mood | Minimalist Dopamine

Hello everyone, this is my "Dopamine Flip Calendar" that I designed for myself, a small 3D printed item that brightens every day with color and interaction.

The calendar features a reversible modular design, with each side freely combinable, allowing you to easily switch between dates, days of the week, seasons, and a small "power phrase" just like playing with bricks. I specifically chose vibrant colors like Skittles, and each flip is like releasing a bit of "dopamine"—making a dull daily routine suddenly interesting with a splash of bright yellow or brilliant blue.

Four areas, hiding four thoughtful touches:

The top left is "Month Rotation"—spring, summer, autumn, winter, flowing with time;

The top right is "Today's Number"—flipping to a new page every day is like high-fiving yourself;

The bottom left is "Day of the Week Marker"—celebrate the weekend with bolder colors;

The bottom right is "One-Sentence Energy"—for example, "Reject anxiety" or "Stay curious," a gentle reminder to yourself.

The entire calendar is held up by a white base, clean and highlighting the colors. I prototyped many times, finally making the flipping feel crisp and smooth. It's not just a tool; it's a small rainbow on your desk. Spending a few seconds flipping it every day is like pressing a refresh button for your mood.
