This is a tea caddy used in Japan to store tea leaves
Tea caddies are highly airtight to protect tea leaves from moisture, allowing them to be enjoyed for a long time. They have an inner lid, and the top lid is designed to have as few gaps as possible, yet opens smoothly when taking out tea leaves
