Honda S2000 Gentex Mirror Mounting Adapter
Adapter for using the mirror stalk from a stock mirror on a Gentex homelink / backup mirror.
Assembly:
- Original stalk must be removed from the stock mirror - only way I could get it out was to cut the back of the mirror off.
- Save the stalk, and the metal plate with the dimple
- Open the gentex mirror by splitting in half along the front bezel seam
- Unscrew gentex mount, line up new printed mount and drill the 6 holes
- Assemble the new clamp in a sandwich, reuse the dimple plate from stock mirror (trim to size) and screw down TIGHTLY.
- Enjoy your modernized mirror!
