Because this component is under mechanical stress, material choice is critical for durability.
Material Recommendation (Very Important)
PLA is not recommended for this part.
Recommended materials:
- PETG – good strength with slight flexibility
- TPU – excellent flexibility and impact resistance
Both materials work well with AMS-compatible filaments and greatly reduce the risk of cracking compared to PLA.
