I designed a housing for the Blink camera for my caravan here
No drilling required, the base plate is attached with strong 3M adhesive tape, and the housing is screwed onto the base plate with 2 screws If the camera needs to be removed, the glued base plate looks very sturdy because it is very flat On my caravan, the housing has been holding since 2024, and I have a honeycomb exterior wall The 3M adhesive tape also holds perfectly on smooth surfaces
As a tip. Clean the surface with alcohol (isopropanol), apply the base plate, and wait 24 hours before screwing on the camera + housing!
You will need:
1 x double-sided adhesive tape. I used the weather-resistant/high-temperature one from 3M; it should be about 1mm thick for the spacing!
2 x threaded inserts M4x6x6
2 x screws M4x8
I printed it from PETG, and it still looks great after almost 2 years!
