Description
These adapter plates will allow you to mount virtually any new smoke / CO detector to existing mounting screws, without having to move or add new screws or anchors.
Mounting Tips:
- First break free the sliding key holes from their print-in-place position.
- Adjust key holes to the desired spacing, then I found it helpful to secure them with a piece of tape, so they don't move around while you are trying to hang it on the wall or ceiling.
- The lines on the top indicate the best place to screw in your new detector. Below the lines are cavities to receive the mounting screws. Use mounting screws 0.6inch (15mm) or less to prevent them from going all the way through the adapter.
