The open, lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear and faster to print compared to solid masks. The geometry is specifically designed to catch the light, making it ideal for Silk or Dual-Color filaments.
📸 In the photo: The model shown was printed using a Dual Color Silk PLA (Red/Gold) to create a shimmering "flame" effect that changes color depending on the viewing angle.
- Material: PLA, Matte PLA (Highly recommended for the best visual effect), or PETG.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm (to preserve the fine details).
- Infill: 8% -15 % (Although most of the print will consist of walls/perimeters).
- Walls/Loops: 2 walls to ensure strength for the thin lattice structure.
- Supports:
- The design is fairly self-supporting, but I strongly recommend "Tree" supports (touching build plate only).
- This is mainly to support the arch of the nose and the bottom of the chin without ruining the internal texture.
- IMPORTAN: BE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE SUPPORTS, SOME PIECES OF THE MASK ARE DELICATE AND COULD BREAK
- Brim: Recommended if you have bed adhesion issues, as the contact surface area is quite thin.
