Description
This print profile includes the models needed to construct the a tremor brace from “It's Triggy”, as seen here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiWKmoLqlRg (at about 5:30)
What it does:
This model is a design that helps tremor patients to hold cutlery such as spoon or forks again to eat by themselves: The brace is fixed to the arm using velcro straps (one-sided velcro belt works). The tremor patient grabs the copper T-part with their fingers and can clamp a spoon or fork between their fingers and the T-part. There is a printed part to be glued or taped on the copper T, this part has a grove where the cutlery can be well fixed.
I saw this model on youtube and there was only cryptic information so far. So I decided to print it for the father of a dear friend - and to publish the print profile here in the hope that it helps other people as well. As this model was made for an elder woman, I also added a very long main beam that can be cut to the right size when fitting it to the tremor patient.
Other from the print you need the copper T fitting from a local hardware store, it cost about 2 to 3€. The aluminium T channels are optional in my opinion. I'll update when I have more data.
