V100 heatsink air shroud kit, compatible with 7015 fan

 

EasyFastUseful™️ exclusive design, one of a kind

 

Specifically designed for airflow optimization for the two 6cm high 2U heatsinks shown in the picture, can be installed purely by hand, no tools required

 

After installing the air shroud, the maximum cooling power can be increased by more than 40 watts compared to directly strapping the fan to the heatsink

 

Kit includes: air shroud x1, fixing pins x4 (only two can be installed during assembly), four cable ties (length should preferably reach 20cm, with 20cm it can achieve a style similar to the picture, no restriction on tie width)

Installation method:

 

Place the 7015 fan inside the heatsink shroud, insert the fixing pins from the outside to secure it. Depending on the material you use, the fixing pins might be tight or loose, but they should all be able to be inserted into the holes of the heatsink posts.

 

Snap the heatsink shroud onto the 2U SMX2 heatsink, thread and tighten the cable ties as shown in the figure. The heatsink shroud provides cable tie routing grooves. While tightening the cable ties, also press down firmly on the heatsink shroud.

 

After installation, the heatsink shroud may have a slight wobble, but it will absolutely not fall off.
