Description

This is my first shot at a case for the Lilygo T-SIM A7670G-S3 module.

The module has bee programmed with a self developed firmware whose functionalities are:

  • Web Server, serving webpages stored on the SD card
  • OTA firmware update
  • Websocket used to interface (API) with the module (eg. via javascrript on webpages or Homeassitant instances).
  • Telnet server for remote connection
  • WiFi. hotspot, when the module fails to connec tthe local WiFi it switches to a Hotspot;
  • LTE (GPRS) IP connexion allowing an mqtt client to feed gps data while on the road.
  • The GPS data collected is sent via mqtt and written to a path file on the SD card.
  • A Web file manager is implemented to browse the SD card files, upload/download files

The mqtt messages are received on a broker (moquitto) via internet. A Web application has been developed to process the incoming GPS data. It uses the very good leaflet mapping javascript module to plot GPS data in real time on a (selectable) map.

The project is under development and thus not yet published as bugs are still floating about and no documentation work has been undertaken.

I printed using an A1 with either PLA or PETG (model showned is PETG)

As mentioned this is my first shot, it needs some refinement (locking for covers, an additional hole for the modem's micro USB and other bits and blobs.
