Ludwig van Beethoven – Classical Bust

This bust represents Ludwig van Beethoven, born on December 17, 1770, in Bonn, and who died on March 26, 1827, in Vienna. He is one of the greatest composers in the history of Western classical music and a key figure in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic era.

A visionary composer, Beethoven profoundly transformed musical language through his symphonies, sonatas, concertos, and chamber music. Despite progressive hearing loss, he created some of his most significant works, including Symphony No. 9, the piano sonatas, and the late string quartets, which remain essential pillars of the classical repertoire.

This bust is inspired by Beethoven’s most famous portrait, in which he is depicted with an intense and determined gaze. The proportions of the face have been carefully adjusted to achieve a closer likeness to this iconic representation, while maintaining a timeless and sober sculptural style.

Designed as a classical bust, the model features simplified forms and well-defined traits, evoking traditional marble sculpture.
