Here is a collection of fully printable Wing Nuts, designed for easy hand-tightening without tools.

These nuts are perfect for:

  • Temporary assemblies.
  • Workshop jigs and fixtures.
  • Toys or camera mounts.
  • Quick replacement of lost hardware.

The print profile includes the following sizes: M3, M4, M5, M6, and M8.

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the threads work smoothy and are strong:

  • Material: PLA (Standard), PETG (Recommended for mechanical strength), or ASA.
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.16mm (Crucial for thread precision).
  • Walls: 3 or 4 loops (to strengthen the wings).
  • Infill: 50% to 100% (Rectilinear).
  • Supports: No supports needed (Print flat).

💡 Tips

  • Tolerance: Threads are designed with standard ISO tolerances. If it feels too tight initially, screw a metal bolt in and out a few times to "break in" the threads.
  • Scaling: Do not scale the model, or the threads will no longer match standard bolts.

hello the m6 rib is not good I managed to create it by scaling x to 24.7 and y to 12.24
