KMC 17" Grenade Beadlock Bead Spacers
Print Profile(1)

Description
Modeled these bead spacers to fix some coning I was getting when mounting some Mickey Thompson MTs to my 17" KMC Grenade Crawl KM235 beadlocks. The MTs in 40" have a 0.79" thick bead. Most beadlock manufacturers recommend using bead spacers with any bead larger than 0.75" - but don't include them with the wheels for some reason.
KMC branded spacers are on backorder, and with my previous Dirtylife beadlocks I ran an ABS plastic spacer supplied by Dirtylife themselves. Given these spacers only act as a compressive shim to offset the angle of the sealing outer ring, plastic spacers are widely used for this application and should hold up well.
These spacers are 4mm thick. The spacers KMC sells are 0.19" (4.8mm) thick. 4mm worked perfect for my application and removed all coning of the beadlock ring once installed.
I printed in ABS with 100% infill, 6 wall loops with 5 top shell layers and 3 bottom shell layers (1.2 thickness for both). I split the ring up to fit the maximum number on my build plate (around 10 per plate). You will need 32 for 4 wheels. I've also attached the raw .stl which can be plasma cut from aluminum if you prefer.
