Description

Want a better solution for securing your workpiece to aluminum blades on the laser bed?  I run a laser business and use these clips on my 60w lasers to manage warped plywood. These clips are designed to snap securely onto the aluminum knife blades of your laser bed, providing downward pressure to keep your material perfectly flat for consistent cutting and engraving.

Features:

  • Precision Fit: Optimized for standard 5mm (base) x 15mm (height) aluminum blades found on most Monport, OMTech, and similar industrial CO2 lasers.
  • Material Optimized: Designed specifically for 3mm (1/8") plywood/acrylic.
  • Low Profile: The top "jaw" is designed to stay low to the material to minimize the risk of laser head collisions.
  • Print-in-Place: No supports needed!

Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended. (PLA may soften over time if your laser bed gets warm from heavy use).
  • Infill: 25% or higher for structural spring tension.
  • Walls: 2+ perimeters for durability.
  • Orientation: Print on its side for maximum strength along the "C" curve.

How to Use:

  1. Slide the bottom 5mm notch onto the base of your aluminum blade.
  2. Push your plywood edge under the top jaw. (Always make sure the cupped/concave side faces UP)
  3. Use 4–6 clips per side depending on the severity of the warp.

Disclaimer: Always check your nozzle clearance before running a job to ensure the laser head does not strike the clips.
