This mod allows you to print PLA with the door fully closed without sacrificing cooling quality.
By channeling fresh air from outside the printer and filtering it before it reaches the part, you'll achieve better print quality, reduce warping, and protect your components from dust buildup.

đ What Youâll Need (in addition to 3D printed parts):
- đŠ 4 Ă M3 threaded inserts
- đŠ 4 Ă M3 screws
- đ§ź 1 Ă sheet of filter paper (can be HEPA, lab-grade, or DIY)
đ§° Installation Guide:
- Print all required parts, including the drilling/cutting template.
- Use the template to mark and modify the printerâs side panel.
- Cut the air intake hole and drill the mounting holes as shown.
- Install the M3 inserts into the 3D printed air intake base.
- Screw the intake module onto the enclosure using M3 screws.
- Insert the filter paper into the dedicated slot.
- Start printing PLA with the door closed â enjoy clean, cool airflow!
đ Recommended Print Settings:
- Material: PETG (preferred for heat resistance) or ABS
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm
- Wall Thickness: 2-3 perimeters
- Infill: 30â50%
- Supports: Yes (where needed)
