Cat Storage Box for Glasses

A cute and practical cat-shaped storage box designed for everyday use.

This universal storage case is perfect for:

The box features a smooth rounded design, a hinged lid, and a compact size that fits easily on a desk, shelf, or bedside table.
Its simple geometry makes it easy to print while still looking clean and polished even on FDM printers.

• Shown in multiple colors for presentation purposes — print color depends on filament.
• Facial details are optional (painted or printed separately).

Two lid design options are available:
Classic Flat Lid (Version 1) – a simple, flat lid with a clean and minimal look.
Designer Lid (Version 2) – a more sculpted lid with softer curves and a more expressive appearance.

Both versions are fully compatible with the same base and differ only in lid shape and printing behavior.

Assembly notes:

• Magnetic lid closure:
The lid uses round magnets Ø4×2 mm to ensure reliable and secure closure.
Magnets are inserted after printing into the dedicated pockets and can be fixed with a small drop of glue if needed.
Using magnets is strongly recommended for proper functionality and alignment.

• Hinge mechanism:
The hinge is designed to work with a brass dowel pin 2×33 mm (DA006).
The pin can be easily inserted as-is, and then trimmed to the required length using cutters after assembly.
This design allows for simple installation without precise pre-cutting and ensures a clean, robust hinge fit.
