# Ultimate Protection for DJI RC Pro (Screen & Sticks)

**Stop unscrewing your control sticks every time you pack your drone!**

This project is a complete protective solution for the DJI RC Pro controller. It serves as a hard cover for transport and a sunshade during flight.

It is a remix of a steering wheel mount, heavily modified to function as a secure latching mechanism for this new cover system.

### 🚀 Why do you need this?
1.  **Save Time (Ready-to-Fly):** The cover is designed with deep recesses for the control sticks (gimbals). You **do not** need to unscrew them for storage anymore. Just clip the cover on and throw it in your bag.
2.  **Screen Protection:** Protects the expensive built-in screen from scratches, cracks, and pressure during transport.
3.  **Sunshade:** The design also acts as a sun hood, reducing glare and keeping the sun off the screen while you fly.
4.  **Gimbal Safety:** Immobilizes the sticks during transport to prevent damage to the delicate gimbal mechanism.

### 🛠️ Remix Info:
This design uses a modified clip mechanism originally designed for a steering wheel mount. I adapted it to serve as a robust anchor for the screen cover.

### 🖨️ Print Settings:
* **Material:** PLA is okay, but PETG/ASA is recommended for heat resistance (especially if left in a car or direct sun).
* **Supports and orientation:** YES. The clip requires minimal supports, but the screen protector needs more. I have uploaded two versions:

• AMS: Print flat using a support interface material (e.g., PLA interface for a PETG print). I really recommend printing with support interface.
• NO AMS: Print vertically (uses fewer supports but sacrifices strength) or flat (stronger, but support removal will be more difficult).
