Marketed in North America as an Acura and elsewhere as a Honda, the NSX (which stands for "New Sports eXperimental") was the first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum monocoque chassis and body, making it exceptionally lightweight and rigid. Its mid-mounted, 3.0-liter DOHC V6 engine was equipped with Honda's innovative VTEC™ (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system, delivering an impressive 270 horsepower and an 8000 RPM redline while remaining reliably docile in daily driving.
