Non-Drinking Water Safety Sign — ISO 7010 P005 Prohibition Symbol (Scalable, AMS & Non-AMS Ready)

This is a  Non-Drinking Water or Non-Potable Water safety sign featuring the internationally recognised prohibition pictogram (a tap with water into a cup, crossed out). Designed for clear visual communication at outdoor water outlets, taps, hoses and non-potable connections where drinking water is not available or safe.

Standards & Compliance

• Follows the ISO 7010 “Not drinking water” safety symbol (P005) with correct prohibition style and colours (red circle with diagonal, black pictogram, white background). 
• Suitable for workplaces and public areas where identification of non-drinkable water is recommended or required by local health and safety regulations (e.g., European Safety Signs Regulations, ANSI-style signage). 

Size & Legibility Guidance

• Default size: 100 mm diameter — good for close-up applications such as directly on taps or fixtures.
• Recommended visibility rule: Pictogram elements should be at least 15 mm per metre of expected viewing distance to ensure legibility.

Easy to scale up or down

• Scalability: Scale the sign’s X and Y dimensions to suit visibility requirements.
• Thickness: Do not reduce Z (thickness) below 1 mm; thinner prints may lack durability outdoors.
