Description

Deal cards across the table without reaching — this smooth-rolling tray slides cards directly to every player.

This model is an adaptation of my Playing Card Tray, redesigned to make dealing cards across the table easier and more fun.

During game nights we noticed everyone constantly reaching across the table to grab cards, which quickly got annoying. This tray solves that problem by letting you simply slide the cards to players at the other end of the table.

The tray rides on bearings so it rolls smoothly across the table, making reaching the cards quick, easy, and satisfying.

An optional taller card tray is also included for games that use larger decks like UNO or multi-deck card games.

Perfect for:

  • Family game nights
  • Poker
  • UNO
  • Multi-deck card games

🔩 Required Hardware

You will need:

You can buy them from Maker’s Supply on BambuLab or other retailers.

⚙️ Bearing Recommendations

For the smoothest roll, use:

4 × Standard 608 Ball Bearings

If you want the tray to have a bit more control and resistance, try:

  • 2–3 × Standard 608 bearings
  • 1–2 × 608-2RS sealed bearings

Sealed bearings contain grease, which adds resistance. Using one or two sealed bearings helps prevent the tray from rolling too freely while still keeping it smooth.

🖨️ Suggested Print Settings

These settings work well for most printers:

  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 10–15%
  • Supports: Not required
  • Material: PLA recommended

All parts are designed to print easily without supports.

🧩 Assembly

  1. Print the tray and Track components, and bearing connectors.
  2. Press 4 × 608 bearings into the wheel slots and connect them to the base using the printed Bearing Connector pins.
  3. Ensure the bearings spin freely.
  4. Place your cards in the tray and slide them across the table!
