Description

Primary mirror light blocker designed for the Sky-Watcher 200P Newtonian telescope. It blocks stray side light from reaching the primary mirror, improving contrast during both visual observing and imaging.

The design includes mounting holes for a standard 80×80 mm PC fan, mounted with screws. The fan helps prevent dew formation on the primary mirror and allows it to reach ambient temperature faster, resulting in more stable images.

I highly recommend using a fan with a dust cover or dust filter to prevent dust buildup and keep the primary mirror clean.

The part snaps on securely and holds firmly in place without the need for additional modifications.

This model was printed in Sunlu PETG. I recommend PETG if the telescope is exposed to direct sunlight during the day, due to its higher temperature resistance compared to PLA.
