Parametric Pipe Adapter
With this configurable model, an adapter for (round) pipes can be created from one diameter to another.
The adapter consists of three parts:
Part A for connection to one side and Part B for connection to the other side.
Part M (middle) represents the transition.
The wall thickness (wt) is the same for all parts.
All diameters are the inner diameters of the pipes!
The outer diameters can then be easily determined from the wall thickness (wt) (dOuter = dInner + 2*wt).
Both Part A and Part B can be designed conically inwards or outwards.
For both parts (A and B), it can be decided separately whether the side has a curve or not.
With very large differences between the size of Part A and Part B and a low height of the middle part, the wall thickness becomes significantly thinner!
