Description

My 20th Mini Train Diorama takes us to Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea.
The miniature KTX-Cheongryong travels around the legendary Gyeongbokgung Palace, passes the city’s iconic landmark, N Seoul Tower (Namsan Tower), and runs alongside the Lotte World Tower, the world’s sixth-tallest building.
The train goes through a tunnel in the beautiful mountainous area near Bugaksan and also passes the Star Tower.

This functional diorama can be operated manually from the outside with the hand-wheel, but it can also be run using various motorized solutions.

Printing:

Note that some parts are very small. Good adhesion is necessary!

Following PLA Filaments are used:

Black
White
Silver/Grey
Brown
Blue Grey
Mistletoe Green
Red
Matte Desert Tan
Silk Blue for Train a light blue also works

Other colors are possible of course, look what you have in stock.

I think it could be easy done with single color, if you want to color from hand.

The diorama you see is printed with a 0,4mm nozzle! Iam very pleased with the result, but you can try a 0,2 nozzle for more details, as well.

Assembly:

You need 6pcs round 4x2 magnets for assembly.

**Insert Magnets in the train all with same polarity direction.**

**Insert Magnets in the 3 pins all with same polarity but opposite direction than before! The Pins must attract the train!**

**Insert the pins into the inner track, use the train hold them in place.**

**Insert the hand-wheel, make sure all 3 pins are captured by the slots. Than press it completely in.**

**Turn over and put the terrain on top**

**Use the 5 generic buildings (all same size) and the 4 trees to combine terrain and base. Use a bit of glue in addition. Than you can also glue the other buildings into position**
