Realistic Chameleon Lamp | E27 & Universal Mount

🦎 Bring the jungle into your living room!

This 3D printed Chameleon Lamp adds a quirky, artistic touch to any space. Designed with a realistic scale texture (optimized for Fuzzy Skin), it holds the light bulb in its tail, creating a unique climbing effect.

✨ Two Versions Included: Since light sockets vary globally, the files include two body options:

1. Standard E27 Version: Threaded specifically to fit a standard E27 lamp holder.
2. Universal / DIY Version: Features a customizable "Negative Part" cylinder in the tail. You can resize this hole to fit other socket (the hole is 27 mm wide right now), or you can resize the whole model.

📏 How to customize the Universal Version (Bambu Studio / Orca): If the E27 version doesn't fit your hardware, use the Universal file:

1. Open the project and find the "Negative Cylinder" object in the object list (under the Chameleon body).
2. Select the cylinder and use the Scale Tool.
3. Adjust the X and Y dimensions to match the diameter of your lamp holder (measure your socket with calipers first!).
4. Slice: the cylinder will cut the perfect hole for you.

🛠️ Print Settings & Stability

• Fuzzy Skin: The provided 3mf profile has Fuzzy Skin enabled on outer walls. This creates the realistic reptile texture and hides layer lines.
• Supports: Use Tree Supports (Slim). They are essential for the belly and chin but are easy to remove.
• ⚖️ Stability Tip (Important): If you plan to use a heavy smart bulb (like Philips Hue), I recommend setting the infill to 100% for the front legs (or adding a modifier there). This shifts the center of gravity forward and prevents the chameleon from tipping over.

💡 Safety & Technical Notes

• Bulb: Use LED Bulbs ONLY (Max 5-7W). Do not use incandescent bulbs; the heat will deform or melt the PLA tail.
