Modular Scene

This project is the second modular aquarium diorama in the series, designed to create a rich and customizable underwater scene that blends natural elements with a mythological centerpiece.

The diorama uses the same proven modular structure as the first Aquarium Diorama, ensuring full compatibility, easy assembly, and creative freedom when arranging the scene.

All these elements are designed for single-color printing and do not require AMS.

Colored Fish Sets (AMS required)

• 🐠 3 different colored fish sets

⚠️ AMS is required only for these fish sets.

The color layouts have been carefully designed to:

• Reduce filament changes
• Minimize color waste
• Keep printing efficient

If you prefer not to use AMS, the aquarium is fully complete and visually balanced using only the neutral fish set.

Modular & Customizable Design

• All decorative elements slot into the base
• No glue required for fish, plants, cave, or statue
• The layout can be changed at any time

This allows you to refresh the scene, experiment with new compositions, and keep the aquarium visually dynamic.

Assembly Instructions (Updated Version)

⚠️ Important
The structure uses the updated assembly system with dovetail joints, designed to simplify assembly and improve alignment.
Joints are provided in two different sizes to compensate for printer tolerances.

🧴 Glue is required for the structure
(Recommended: PVA / vinavil glue)

Main Structure Assembly

1. Print Main Structure → 2 times
2. Print Inside Top
3. Assemble Main Structure + Inside Top using dovetail joints and glue
4. Print Low
5. Assemble Main Structure + Low using dovetail joints and glue
6. Dovetail joints can be used with or without glue, but using glue is strongly recommended
7. Print Side 1
8. Print Side 2
9. Print Back and Inside Front
10. Assemble all parts together using glue and dovetail joints
11. The main aquarium structure is now fully assembled

Scene Setup

1. Print plants, cave, Poseidon statue, and fish
2. Place all elements freely on the base

• No glue is required for scene elements
• Rearranging elements is encouraged

Printing Notes

• Some elements include supports
• Please remove supports carefully, especially around thin or detailed parts

This aquarium diorama combines:

It is designed as a living scene, meant to evolve over time rather than remain fixed.
