Description
This is a clamp-on adapter designed to mount a small pneumatic air mister directly to a CNC spindle.
I made this to hold a common budget air mister aimed at the cutter for chip clearing and light cooling during aluminum, plastic, and wood machining. The mount attaches to the spindle body using the existing T-slot channels on the spindle mount, keeping the mister rigid, compact, and out of the way.
The nozzle position is adjustable via the flexible hose on the mister, allowing precise airflow placement without interfering with the tool, dust boot, or Z travel.
Compatibility notes
- Designed around a typical 1.5 kW air-cooled spindle
- Attaches using small metric hardware (likely M2 or M3)
- The T-slot nut shown fits snugly in the spindle mount slots used on AnoleX-style machines
- Compatible with many similar spindles and mounts that use narrow T-slots
