Description

“The Shusher” Pen is a 3D printable pen body designed to accept a standard BIC pen.
The model prints as a hollow cylindrical handle with a twist-open top for easy refill insertion.

This design was optimized for clean vertical printing and consistent wall thickness.

🔧 Assembly

  1. Insert a standard BIC pen into the handle
  2. Press the top section onto the shaft and give a slight twist to lock in place

Pen refill not included.

🖨️ Print Settings

  • Orientation: Prints vertically
  • Supports: included, the lower portions do need supports and have been painted on (set to manual), there is also an inner support shaft to prevent banding and is easily removed by tapping on a hard surface.
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls: 2
  • Material: Whatever you like… PLA is what I used.

⚠️ Notes

  • Designed specifically for standard BIC pen
  • Tolerances may vary by filament and printer
  • AMS is not necessary, just include a pause for the 1 color change that is needed for shusher coloring (already set in slicer for AMS color swap)

📦 Plates Include

  • Shusher Pen shaft
  • Shusher Pen top

This is a functional print intended for personal use.

Nope. I've been working on this for a few weeks. You can still upload your own version of a shusher pen.

It should work as is for the A1 mini. You'll just need to change the machine in the upper corner and then arrange the items on the plate. Please let me know if that does not work.
