Description

Do you love the Honeycomb Storage Wall system (originally created by RostaP) but feel a little uneasy with the inserts being either difficult to insert and remove or too loose? I wanted to come up with some sort of a locking system and ultimately it dawned on me that the solution was sitting in front of me in my 3D printer. T-nuts! I created a basic T-nut that uses 3x10mm metric bolts and standard 3mm nuts to latch into a standard honeycomb storage wall. The 3mm nut just press fits into the T-nut without much fuss and stays in place. I've included the STEP file for anyone wanting to make variations for other nuts/bolts. For my first adapted attachment, I made a 20mm hook. Filament in the photos is Overture matte black PLA, but you shouldn't have any issues printing this in PETG or other filaments. Printed at 0.2mm layer height with 0.4mm nozzle. Happy printing and happy organizing!
