Husqvarna 61 – Oil Filler Cap + TPU Sealing Ring

This is a replacement oil filler cap designed for the Husqvarna 61 chainsaw, including a separate TPU sealing ring.
The original part is no longer available, so I designed this replacement based on the original cap to keep an old but reliable chainsaw running.

The model was created for proper fit and reliable sealing, making it suitable for real-world use.

🔧 Included Parts

• 1× Oil filler cap (rigid filament – ABS/ASA / PETG)
• 1× Sealing ring (TPU – flexible)

🧵 Recommended Print Settings

Cap 

• Recommended material: PETG ABS ASA
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 3–4 perimeters
• Infill: 30–40%
• Print orientation: thread facing up
• Supports:required

Sealing Ring (TPU)

• Material: TPU (around Shore 95A recommended)
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 100%
• Print speed: slow (20–30 mm/s)
• Supports: not required

🛠️ Assembly

1. Print the cap using your chosen rigid filament.
2. Print the sealing ring using TPU.
3. Insert the TPU ring into the groove on the bottom of the cap.
4. Screw the cap into the oil tank and check for proper sealing.

💡 Tip: If the thread feels tight at first, light sanding or a bit of oil can help.
