Description

2026.06.16 - NEW VERSION ADDED.

Hello!

My name is Rodion. I am an industrial designer and the founder of the USAEV studio.

Today I’m sharing a filament filter designed specifically for Bambu Lab AMS systems.

The problem with most common filament filters is that they only work correctly when the filament is pulled. In AMS systems, the filament is also pushed during loading and material changes. In that mode, typical filters can jam, block the filament, and interrupt the printing process, requiring manual intervention. In practice, this makes many existing filters unreliable or unusable inside AMS.

This filter was designed to solve that exact issue.
It is mounted in a fixed position inside the AMS and allows both pushing and pulling of the filament without jamming. The design is compact, uses only the necessary material, and is fully printable without supports.

On my Bambu Lab H2S, printed in transparent PETG or black PLA, the print takes about 11 minutes of pure printing time.

I decided to share this model for free and make it available to the community.

Hope you find it useful and your feedback is welcome.
