Drip Shelf – Sideways Motion Edition

Okay… these drip shelves have gotten way more love than I ever expected. And once people start asking for more, you kind of have to listen.

So I did.

This version is all about motion. Instead of the drips falling straight down, this shelf looks like it was moving sideways fast and the material didn’t quite keep up. Think wind, inertia, hard turns or just a shelf that needed a little more life.

The result is a sculptural piece that feels frozen mid-movement. Dramatic, a little wild, but still very intentionally designed to be 3D-printable.

Same drip energy.

• Drips are angled and thickened where needed for clean overhangs
• Prints upside-down beautifully on most beds

If it looks a little “how is that even possible?” that’s the point 😄

People kept loving the drip shelves.
I didn’t want to just make another one.

So I gave it motion.

Because shelves don’t have to be boring.
And because 3D printers can do things that shouldn’t exist so we might as well lean into that.

Giving the people what they want… just slightly unhinged.
