Description
A fully printable modular drawer set for your Fellow Corvo EKG Pro and Fellow Corvo EKG Pro Studio kettles. The set comes with a platform for the kettle and 4 different sized stackable drawers for you to choose from. Perfect for you to store your tea bags, coffee filters, scale, or any other items you frequently use near your kettle.
Platform Sizes (EKG Pro vs EKG Pro Studio)
There are 2 platforms available, the EKG Pro and EKG Pro Studio versions. The only difference between the two is that the EKG Pro platform is 1.7mm taller than the EKG Pro Studio one. There appears to be a slight hight difference between the two models from Fellow and so the 2 different platforms take that into account. If you happen to print the wrong one, you can still use it as the base will fit, the platform will just not sit flush with the base.
Drawer Sizes
The set comes with 4 different sized drawers. Each drawer is 152.15mm wide, 172.15mm deep. Depending on which drawer(s) you choose, the height of the drawers are 29mm, 39mm, and 49mm, and 69mm. Each drawer is 1mm shorter than the height of the frame slot it belongs to as to ensure easy opening and closing of the drawer. There should be 0.4mm of clearance for the drawer in the platform (0.4mm on left, 0.4mm on right, and 0.4mm on the back). This should allow for the drawer to easily slide in and out, keep the varying tolerances of different printers happy, and be aesthetically pleasing.
The one in the pictures is the 40mm high version. There are also 30mm, 50mm, and 70mm high drawers that you can use instead or stack for added space.
Important: You do not need to print all of them – just the one(s) that fit your needs.
Printing & Assembly
- Print the platform. Use Plate 1 for the EKG Pro Studio or Plate 2 for the EKG Pro.
- Print at least one frame and one drawer.
- The plates with the frame come with the dowels that you simply place into the holes in the frames to align and secure them. The drawer should slide freely when inserted into the frame.
- Print more drawers/frames depending on your needs.
The model was tested and printed with Basic PLA (Black) from Bambu Lab.
