I've reinforced the keyring loop so it's durable enough for daily use, but small enough to fit perfectly in your hand.
If you print one, please share a photo! A Boost is always appreciated and helps fund my prototyping. đ
đŚ Scoops Ahoy Emergency! Steve & Robin "Tied Up" Edition
"Ahoy, ladies! ...We might be in a bit of trouble."
Gear up for a trip beneath the Starcourt Mall with this Steve & Robin Inspired Mini Figure! Capturing one of the most iconic (and hilarious) moments from Stranger Things, this model reimagines our favorite Scoops Ahoy employees in a stylized, "Tied Up" pose.
Modeled faithfully from the rare Kinder Joy collectible, this figure brings that adorable "Funko-style" aesthetic directly to your 3D printer. Whether you are a die-hard Hawkins fan, a collector of cute desk toys, or looking for your next painting project, this model is the perfect addition to your shelf.
â Model Highlights:
- Collectible Design: A perfect recreation of the Kinder Joy mini-figure style.
- Clean Geometry: đ§ The mesh is optimized for 3D printingâwatertight, manifold, and designed for smooth layers.
- Compact Size: Cute, shelf-friendly, and quick to print, but retains high detail for scaling up if you want a giant version!
- Ready-to-Paint: This model is designed as a blank canvas for your artistic skills.
đ¨ď¸ Printing Recommendations
To get the best details on the hair and the uniform, follow these settings:
- Nozzle: 0.4mm (Standard) or 0.2mm (For maximum detail).
- Layer Height: 0.08mm - 0.12mm recommended. Since this is a mini figure, lower layer heights will make the curves of the "Funko" head look much smoother.
- Infill: 15% Gyroid (Sturdy but saves material).
- Supports: Tree Supports (Auto) are highly recommended to support the chin and arms without leaving marks on the model.
Material: PLA (Matte PLA looks great for painting) or Resin.
đ¨ The Painting Project: Bring Them to Life!
Note: This model is designed to be printed in a solid color (Grey or White recommended) and painted by you!
This is the perfect weekend project. Grab your acrylics and fine-tip brushes to recreate the iconic Scoops Ahoy uniform:
- Primer: Give the model a light coat of primer to help the paint stick.
- Base Colors: Apply the classic Navy Blue and White for the sailor sailor outfits.
- Details: Don't forget the red tie, the "Ahoy" hat, and the bruised makeup look if you want to be show-accurate!
- Seal: Finish with a matte or satin varnish to protect your work.
đ¸ Show Off Your Make!
The Upside Down awaits! If you print and paint this dynamic duo, please upload a MakerWorld Profile picture! I love seeing how different people interpret the painting styleâwhether you go for a clean cartoon look or a gritty, realistic Hawkins vibe.
