Description
This 3D model is a functional replacement handle designed for water ball valves. It serves as a direct substitute for original components that are missing, broken, or degraded, restoring the manual control interface of the valve.
1. Mechanical Specifications
- Torque Interface: "Double-D" (oblong) center bore with nominal dimensions of 6.35 mm (1/4") x 10 mm. This interface is the sole element responsible for transmitting rotational torque to the valve stem.
- Rotation Stops: Two lateral bottom tabs with a 10 mm depth. These function strictly as end-stops (90° limit) and do not carry operating torque.
Dimensions: Overall length of 80 mm, providing optimized leverage for manual operation.

2. Recommended Print Settings
To ensure the component withstands torsional stress, use the following parameters:
- Material: PETG (Required for durability and chemical resistance).
- Wall Loops: 8 (Critical for reinforcing the torque-bearing core).
- Infill: 30% Gyroid.
- Supports: None (Geometry is optimized for support-less printing).

3. Application and Compatibility
The handle is compatible with standard ball valves found in PEX or copper piping systems.

Fitment Note: Verify a snug fit between the printed handle and the metal stem before use. Excessive play may lead to rounding of the plastic bore under high torque conditions.
