Description

Make Valentine’s Day extra special at school!

This stand-up Valentine mailbox is perfect for classrooms, desks, or parties. Designed with functional hinges and a working door latch, it lets kids safely collect Valentine cards and notes.

  •  Stands upright on its own
  • Working door + latch
  •  Simple assembly
  •  Customizable colors
  •  Great for classrooms & teachers

Parts are labeled for easy assembly. Some super glue is needed.

Assemble the latch prior to the hinges.  The latch piece clips into place with some pressure.

After sliding hinge dowel into hinge, you can apply a hot knife at the bottom of the dowel to melt it just a bit which will secure it in place. I have a sample of what it will look like in the product photos.

The “Xoxo” and “Heart Envelope” are for decoration and can be applied anywhere with some glue.

This was a great print and grandson loves it. Only thing I realized after it was done was he could push the door inward pretty easily(he’s only 6) and possibly break the hinges so I glued a penny painted black to the inside top of the opening and it stops it. Can’t see it and solved that potential problem.

Just a heads up I Printed this in PLA and PETG. The door hinges broke immediately in both filament types I recommend a redesign with much bigger stronger hinges for the door and the frame. The rest of it was cute and adorable. the Locke also is brittle in both prints and broke immediately please redesign and upsize the hinges and the lock mechanism

That's odd. I haven't had this issue nor have I heard of it with anyone else. I will do another test print. Thank you for your feedback

I keep having a problem with the door part, the latch does not print and the small part to hold the latch on the door breaks. Any suggestions??

hmmm. maybe try slowing the print speed down when it gets to those parts. I haven’t had an issue and I printed several

Love it but it seems to be missing the two hinge pins. How do we connect the door?
