This is a fully redesigned adapter for the Bambu Lab P2S External Chamber Exhaust Fan Kit, created to make the fan mount compatible with my P2S Minimal Poop Chute V7.
Original fan mounts sit too low and collide with the chute—so I engineered a clean, robust solution from scratch in Fusion 360.
What this adapter does
- Raises the exhaust fan mount to provide the necessary clearance for the Poop Chute V7
- Maintains full compatibility with the official P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit
- Preserves proper airflow alignment and sealing
- Drops in as a direct replacement for the stock mount
- Designed with durability and printability in mind
Why I made it
The stock P2S fan mount simply doesn’t leave enough room for the chute. Instead of hacking together spacers or modifying the original part, I created a purpose‑built, dimensionally accurate adapter that integrates cleanly with both systems.
Design notes
- Modeled completely from scratch in Fusion 360
- Geometry matches the original mounting interface
- Height increased to ensure smooth poop‑chute operation
- No supports required on most printers
- Optimized for PETG or ABS/ASA for heat resistance
