Description

EDIT: Ignore the diamond piece that used to be part of the sword blade, it no longer exists.

My son asked for a sword so this is what we came up with together.  The sword prints in multiple pieces, allow customization of colors and materials. The sword has stabilizer rods that run the length and halfway down into the handle, adjust the infill of these rods to make the sword stronger. There is also an optional sheath assembly and stabilizers to help make it more durable.

Suggested Assembly Sequence:

  • BLADE
  • Connect the blade tip and the top stabilizer rod
  • Add the blade connectors and connect the middle blade piece to the blade tip
  • Add the middle stabilizer rod
  • Add the blade connectors and connect the bottom blade piece to the middle blade piece
  • Add the bottom stabilizer rod

    HANDLE

  • Add the handle circle connectors to one side of the handle
  • Place the gems inside one side of the handle
  • Connect the two sides of the handle with the gems already inside
  • Add the horns, hearts, and eyes to the handle
  • Connect the blade to the handle

    SHEATH

  • Add the side strip stabilizers to the top pointy side of the sheath
  • Connect the middle sheath section to the top sheath section using the in place stabilizers
  • Add the last two stabilizers to the half assembled sheath section
  • Connect the bottom sheath section to the rest of the sheath assembly with the in place stabilizers
  • Add the decorative stabilizers to the front and back of the sheath using the indexing bumps to align everything
  • Add the Strap using the indexing bumps to align the swivel
