Description

At first glance, this is just a puck—clean, minimal, and unassuming.

Beneath the surface, however, is a hidden mechanism that only reveals itself when aligned correctly.

The lid is held by friction and won’t open by force.

Instead, a precise rotation activates two press-fit 3×6 mm magnets that repel each other, overcoming the friction and releasing a hidden compartment.

The motion isn’t obvious at first, but quickly becomes intuitive and deeply satisfying. To anyone who doesn’t know the trick, the puck stays closed—making it a discreet and clever hiding place. A small secret, hidden in plain sight.

Print & Assembly Notes

  • Designed for friction fit – tolerances may vary slightly depending on printer and material
  • Uses two 3×6 mm magnets, press-fit (no glue required)
  • Orientation and magnet polarity are critical for proper function
  • Best printed in PLA or PETG
