Cap for Construction Adhesives (Caulk & Glue)

This is a 3D-printable universal seal cap designed to perfectly fit construction adhesive cartridges and caulk tubes

that typically don’t come with a resealable closure.

 Most popular adhesives — such as heavy-duty construction glues used for bonding building materials — are sold in cartridges or tubes that must be used immediately once opened. 

Without a proper cap, leftover adhesives like polyurethane, MS Polymer, hybrid, or SMP construction adhesives quickly dry out and cure inside the nozzle.

This model provides a tight, reusable seal for standard adhesive and caulk cartridges (commonly referred to online as tip caps, cartridge caps, or caulk cartridge plug seals).

 It’s designed to save product waste and money by keeping your partially used adhesive fresh between jobs — just like caulk cartridge caps found in hardware stores that prevent adhesive from drying out.
