Description

I received a couple of the Ryobi USB Lithium tools, FVD50 driver and FVM51 rotary tool, for Christmas. Based on PrivateMiku's designed Parametric Storage Boxes, I designed a 3D printable storage box. I sized the storage box as small as I could, 210x160x55 inside, to fit the kits I have.

I was able to get a FVH56 Hot Glue Pen and created an insert for this kit as well. The included stand required a deeper box than the other kits I own. This required me to resize the a deeper box.

The box also support's Gridfinity with its incorporated 5x3 Gridfinity grid. There is a box bottom is 5 units tall and one that is 7 units, each unit is 7 mm. I designed insertable trays to organize the kit pieces and a full insert for miscellanies storage.

The box and inserts will now print with the unit number noted as shown:

Box (Inside)

Insert (Bottom)

In addition to the noting the units required for the inserts by the printed indicator, the profile titles also indicate the units required.

For the Ryobi green color in PETG, I used Polymaker PETG Lime for a close match. Although I've never used it, there is also Overture PETG Grass Green for a close match. I've also read that Sliceworx's PETG ROBITOBI is an exact match and I need to order spool and try it.

For the Ryobi green color in PLA, I used Sunlu PLA Sprout Green. In addition to the close match of Bambu's PLA Basic in Bright Green, Sliceworx's PLA ROBITOBI is also supposedly a perfect match.

Edit - Jan 4, 2026: Updated the print profile for the box to include a small grab/carrying handle. Well, it might be on the small side for a carrying handle. Look for a future project where it will be very helpful.

Edit - Jan 5, 2026: Added profiles to print in PLA.

Edit - Jan 10, 2026: Added 7 unit tall box. Also added a 7 unit inserts full and FVH56.

Edit - Feb 9, 2026: Added 7 unit insert for FVC51. Updated all inserts to be fully compatible with Gridfinity allowing the inserts to be used with Gridfinity drawer inserts.
