3D-Fuel G1 Filaments Clips
Print Profile(2)

Description
Similar to my other filament clips, I was unable to find clips for 3D Fuel PCTG spools online that are AMS and EIBOS Polyphemus rotary function compatible. So I decided to design my own from the ground up.
Enjoy, and share your results. If you encounter issues please let me know, and I will do what I can to help.
Features:
- Removable Some clips have so much friction you cannot remove them without breaking the prongs, these are removable and compliant
- Ultra lightweight at ~1.05g per clip
- Perfectly sized to fit 1.75mm filament without squishing it
- Tested: Tested on (3) 3D-Fuel PCTG spools, I have not tested on 3D Fuel pla/petg spools, but they appear visually the same via 3D Fuels website.
- One print profile: One profile for PETG and PCTG clips,
- Prints without Brim, if you run into print failures add a brim, but filament clips have much less cleanup without brims.
Print and Assembly Notes:
- Filament Type: I recommend printing in the same filament type that is on the spool (for drying compatibility
- Important Note for Specific Filament Types:
- If you use PCTG to print your clips I highly recommend following manufacturer guideliens and using low movement speed ~80mms for walls/infill
- If you use Bambu PETG-HF to print your clips be sure to set your profile shrinkage setting to 99.5%
- Suggest Printing test print to validate the filament tightness sizing before a larger batch.
- You only need 1-2 clips per spool.
- For AMS suggest only placing clips on the right side of the spool, one top and one bottom.
- For AMS Lite suggest only placing 2 clips on outside of the spool (when loaded to AMS). one top and one bottom.
Print Profile Notes:
Nozzle: Suggest 0.4mm nozzle for precision fit
Wall Loops: 2 wall loops on 0.4mm nozzle, 0.6mm nozzle not recommended due to decreased layer adhesion.
Layer Height: Suggest 0.16 or 0.20mm to maximize strength (0.16mm default)
Infill: No infill used.
Brim: default no brim, if you get failures switch to 2.5mm brim
Material: PETG, PCTG, PLA ()
Color: Any
Print Orientation: Print with filament clip area face down as seen in 3mf file
Supports: None
3d Printers: Should be printable on any printer.
Filament amount required: ~1.05g per clip
